     Golden Retrievers have been a part of our family for over 50 years!  We are passionate about Goldens.  They are beautiful, intelligent, and so loving.  They have a natural instinct to retrieve, and love to be with us out in the field hunting grouse and pheasants.  They also love quiet times in our home.  As I type this, I have 3 Goldens sleeping near my feet! 

     "Basil"  is our male.  He's 7 years old going on 2!  He's the best bird dog we've ever had.  He is loyal and eager to please.  He is truly a man's best friend.

     "Betty"  is our dark female.  She is 5 years old.  She is the sweetest dog around, but an animal out in the field.  We call her "Bulldozer" because of the way she plows through thick pheasant cover.

     "Micado"  is 2 years old.  She came to our home from Poland when she was just 4 months old.  We had planned on a show career for Micado but she "showed" us that she's happiest when she's hunting.  She is highly intelligent and very easy to train.  She is showing tremendous potiential out in the field.  She is also a certified therapy dog.
